what is Melamine Phosphate?

Melamine phosphate is an efficient nitrogen-phosphorus intumescent flame retardant. It has the advantages of high thermal stability, low water solubility, no precipitation and excellent flame-retardant properties.

It can be used for flame retardant modification/after treatment of high-temperature nylon, glass fibre reinforced nylon 6/nylon 66/PBT, polyurethane and fibre fabrics. It can also be used with other materials for a better flame-retardant effect.
